Gresham Community posted their closest victory since September 2nd on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Northland Lutheran. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 on September 2nd.

Gresham Community's offense was headlined by Emily Jensen and Lizzy May, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Grace Haffner and her 19 assists. Jensen was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

The victory got Gresham Community back to even at 7-7. As for Northland Lutheran, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Gresham Community is set to square off against their familiar foe Marion at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Northland Lutheran will face off against rival White Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
