Softball Game Preview: Pickering Red Devils vs. Singer Hornets

The Pickering Red Devils will challenge the Singer Hornets at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Pickering is headed into Saturday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They lost 9-2 to Merryville.

Pickering saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Raleigh Graham, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Singer came up short against East Beauregard on Monday, falling 13-6. The Hornets haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Pickering's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Singer, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Pickering took their victory against Singer in their previous matchup back in February of 2016 by a conclusive 16-1. Will Pickering repeat their success, or does Singer have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
