Basketball Recap: St. Charles Takes a Loss

St. Charles was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Plainview-Elgin-Millville Bulldogs and fell 73-21. While losing is never fun, the Fighting Saints can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 345th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 152nd).

St. Charles' defeat dropped their record down to 4-21. As for Plainview-Elgin-Millville, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-8.

As of now, neither St. Charles nor Plainview-Elgin-Millville have any future games scheduled.
