Prairie found a leader in Lane Schock as the squad took down Peetz on Friday. Nobody could stop Schock as he rushed for 256 yards and four touchdowns on only 11 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 50 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Justin Schreiner's Rushing Yards a New Career-High
Justin Schreiner posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 108 rushing yards dating back to last season. He also punched in four rushing touchdowns, which is notable because Prairie is 2-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 2-3 otherwise.
On the season, Schreiner has run in 8 touchdowns while averaging 124.9 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 34.71 rushing yards per game.

Pittington Posts Huge Game in 41-8 Win
Thanks in part to Gavin Pittington, North Park said goodbye to their ten-game losing streak dating back to last season. Pittington turned in nothing short of a gem on Saturday, rushing for 262 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.7 yards per carry, and also catching a touchdown. Those 262 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
Weldon Valley's probably not too fond of Pittington given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Pittington saw the Warriors), he rushed for 78 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries.
