Despite the loss, Bellevue saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Trinity Palmer-Wilson shot 58% from the field on her way to 21 points and eight rebounds. Soraya Ogaldez continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for North Thurston, shooting 45% from the field to rack up 29 points in addition to eight rebounds and five steals. That's the most boards Ogaldez has posted since back in January of 2024. Shayla Cordis was another key player, going 7-for-17 on her way to 20 points and three steals.

Bellevue's defeat dropped their record down to 23-7. As for North Thurston, they pushed their record up to 28-1 with the win, which was their 29th straight at home dating back to last season.
