Basketball Recap: Cordova Comes Up Short

Cordova was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Bartlett Panthers and fell 69-21. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolves of the 66-12 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2023.

Bartlett found their leader in freshman Raeghan McAdory, who went 7 for 12 en route to 15 points along with six rebounds and four steals. The dominant performance gave McAdory a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Aaliyah Davis, who posted 11 points and four steals.

Cordova's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Bartlett, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 14-10 record this season.

Cordova has already played their next matchup (against Southwind), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Bartlett, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 60-47 win against Houston on the 31st.
