Football Game Preview: Hart Pirates vs. Orchard View Cardinals + How To Watch

The Hart Pirates will head out on the road to face off against the Orchard View Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Hart took a 23-point defeat the last time they faced off against Mason County Central, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Pirates skirted past the Spartans 30-27. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Pirates as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Kyle Greiner had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 131 yards and one TD. Those 131 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Greiner was just one part of a punishing run game: Hart was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 234 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Orchard View). They blew past Fremont 55-28 on Friday.

The win got Orchard View back to even at 3-3. As for Hart, the victory also got them back to even at 3-3.

Everything came up roses for Hart against Orchard View when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 44-14 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
