Basketball Recap: West Florence Knights vs. Wilson Tigers
The West Florence Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Wilson, falling 62-28. West Florence has struggled against the Tigers recently, as their match on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Wilson found their leader in underclassman Logan Murray, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Zoey Miller, who scored 14 points along with six steals and five assists.
West Florence has not been sharp recently as the team's lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season. As for Wilson, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-6.
