Basketball Recap: Chisholm's Winning Streak Snapped at Seven Games

If Chisholm was riding high fresh off their 69-14 takedown of Greenway last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Chisholm Bluestreaks received a blow on Monday as they fell 61-46 to the Mesabi East Giants. The game marked the Bluestreaks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

With the loss, Chisholm broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-3. As for Mesabi East, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-3.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Moose Lake/Willow River the next time they take the court. Mesabi East will host Moose Lake/Willow River at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while Chisholm will host them at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
