Soccer Recap: McAllen Takes a Loss

McAllen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were one goals away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial Eagles.

McAllen now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

McAllen will face off against Austin at 11:00 a.m. on January 10th. As for Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial, they will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Ray at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
