Narraguagus entered their tilt with Mount Desert Island on Thursday with eight consecutive wins dating back to last season, and they'll enter their next game with nine. They walked away with  a   3-1  win over the Trojans. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  3-2  last Thursday.
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 18-25, 25-15,  25-12.
Leading Narraguagus to victory were  Eileen Berry and  Dulce Vazquez.  Berry  had 20  digs and one  assist, while  Vazquez  had ten  digs and two  aces. Those  ten  digs gave  Vazquez a new career-high.
 They weren't the only good server: Narraguagus  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 19  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least 14  aces in nine consecutive  matches  dating back to last season.
Narraguagus' victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Mount Desert Island, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record  this season.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Narraguagus will venture away from home to  challenge Ellsworth  at 5:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Mount Desert Island, they will head out to  face off against Lake Region  at 1:30  p.m.  on  the 27th.
