Volleyball Recap: Lawrence County Continues Home Dominance on Thursday

Lawrence County extended their home winning streak to six games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Raegan Brazier. The Wildcats narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Spring Hill Raiders 3-2 thanks in part to Brazier, who had 22 digs and five aces. Brazier is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Lawrence County got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 23-25, 25-23, 23-25, 15-7.

Lawrence County's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Spring Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lawrence County will face off against Columbia Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Spring Hill, they will head out to take on Forrest at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
