Football Recap: Regent Prep Starts Season with Victory at Home

Regent Prep took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They managed a 46-41 victory over the Haskell Haymakers. Regent Prep has seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Haskell, too.

Defeat or not, Haskell got some senior leadership from Pj Faul and Mason Londagin. Faul rushed for 144 yards and four touchdowns, while Londagin rushed for 111 yards and a pair of TDs on only 12 carries. Londagin also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making ten total tackles.

Haskell's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Regent Prep is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will take on Summit Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Haskell, they will square off against Colcord at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
