After having lost a blowout in their previous game against New Life Camp, Surry HomeSchool was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 50-39 victory over the Greater Cabarrus S Stallions. The win was some much needed relief for the Runnin' Patriots as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Despite the loss, Greater Cabarrus S still got an impressive performance from Miley Bargesser, who went 5-for-11 on her way to 13 points. Another player making a difference was Austin Miller, who posted five points.

Surry HomeSchool's victory bumped their record up to 8-21. As for Greater Cabarrus S, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-26.

Surry HomeSchool has already played their next match, a 42-34 win against Christian Educational Consortium on the 7th. As for Greater Cabarrus S, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 60-42 victory against FAITH HomeSchool on the 7th.
