Freedom typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Battlefield proved too difficult a challenge. They had just enough and edged out the Eagles 2-1. The game was the first time Battlefield have beaten Freedom on their pitch since April 20, 2023.

Battlefield has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 30 goals over those six contests. As for Freedom, their loss dropped their record down to 10-1-2.

Coincidentally, Battlefield and Freedom will both be playing Osbourn the next time they take the pitch. The Bobcats will host the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
