While Highland Springs's win against Hanover wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Springers skirted past the Hawks 30-27. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Springers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia football rankings (they are ranked fourth, while the Hawks are ranked 71st).

Highland Springs found their leader in sophomore Devlin Davis, who rushed for 104 yards and two scores on only 14 carries.

Highland Springs is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Hanover, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-3.

As of now, neither Highland Springs nor the Hawks have any future games scheduled.
