The Mt. Rainier Rams will face off against the Stadium Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Mt. Rainier is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11 runs per game this season.

Mt. Rainier will bounce into Wednesday's game after beating Kentwood, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. The Rams came out on top against the Conquerors by a score of 13-10 on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rams.

Makayla Oliver was a standout: she scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Willow Stokes, who scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Mt. Rainier always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .615. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, Stadium came up short against Auburn Riverside on Monday, falling 12-6.

Hayden McCabe made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with one home run. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. Kylie Mick was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Stadium dropped their record down to 4-4 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Mt. Rainier, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Mt. Rainier's speedy runners might be the difference in Wednesday's contest. The Rams have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 9.2 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Stadium, though, as they've been averaging only 1.4 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Mt. Rainier continue to outrun the ball?
