It was a proper cat-fight when Elkhart faced off against Warsaw on Saturday. The Lions skirted past the Tigers 4-3. That's more bragging rights for the Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Elkhart saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Quinn Rost, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI Rost has posted since back in April.

With the victory, Elkhart broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-7. As for Warsaw, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-7.

Looking ahead, Elkhart will host Glenn at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Warsaw, they will head out on the road to square off against Plymouth at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Pilgrims/Rockies have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season.
