Cherry found a leader in Jack Michels as the squad took down Two Harbors on Tuesday. Michels turned in nothing short of a gem, tossing four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. He has become a key player for Cherry: the team is undefeated when he allows at most three earned runs, but 4-5 otherwise.

Coming up, Michels and Cherry will face off against Kelley at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The last time Michels duked it out with the Mariners (back in May of 2025), the Tigers came out on top by a score of 18-2. Will another strong game from Michels be enough to do it again? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
