Baseball Preview: West Creek Coyote vs. Northwest Vikings        
        
		
            
 West Creek and Northwest are an even 5-5 against one another  since May of 2017, but likely not for long. The West Creek Coyote will head out on the road to  take on  the Northwest Vikings at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. West Creek is no doubt hoping to put an end to  a four-game streak of away losses.
 On Monday, West Creek narrowly escaped with a  win as the  team sidled past Northwest  8-7.
  Nathan Lucas was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  hit, only one  earned run while striking out eight over 4.2 innings pitched. Lucas was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Donte Castro, who  went 2-for-3 with four  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Alik George, who  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 The  victory  got West Creek back to even at 10-10. As for Northwest, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.
