Basketball Recap: Skiatook Comes Up Short

Skiatook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 38-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sallisaw Black Diamonds. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 36-24 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Skiatook's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Sallisaw, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Skiatook wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 43-36 defeat against Sequoyah on the 25th. As for Sallisaw, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 38-31 win against Wagoner on the 25th.
