Soccer Recap: Northridge Takes a Loss

Northridge fought the good fight in their overtime contest against West Field on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Longhorns by a score of 2-1. Northridge have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of MJ Simpson, who's now up to two this season.

Northridge's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for West Field, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Northridge will challenge rival Clearfield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, West Field is set to square off against their familiar foe Roy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
