Basketball Recap: Hibbing Takes a Loss

Hibbing lost against Superior back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hibbing Bluejackets fell 68-60 to the Superior Spartans.

Hibbing's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Superior, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hibbing will host Pierz at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Hibbing is on a three-game streak of home wins, Pierz a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Superior, they will welcome Marshall at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Superior is facing Marshall at the right time seeing as Marshall is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
