Fort Defiance is a perfect 10-0 against Staunton since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Indians are taking a road trip to square off against the Storm at 5:30 p.m. Fort Defiance is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

On Friday, Fort Defiance earned a 6-2 win over Riverheads.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Staunton's offense. They came up short against Buffalo Gap on Thursday, falling 18-0. Having soared to a lofty 22 runs in the game before, the Storm's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Staunton dropped their record down to 3-7 with the loss, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Fort Defiance, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.

Fort Defiance took their win against Staunton when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 15-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
