Volleyball Recap: Roxanna Ramirez and Kaylie Demison Secure Win for East Bakersfield + How To Watch

East Bakersfield lost to Ridgeview back in August of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Blades put the hurt on the Wolf Pack with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Blades.

East Bakersfield was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-21, 25-17.

Leading East Bakersfield to victory were Kaylie Demison and Roxanna Ramirez. Demison had 15 digs and five aces, while Ramirez had ten digs and three aces. Demison is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last six games she's played.

They weren't the only good server: East Bakersfield was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in six consecutive contests.

East Bakersfield's record now sits at 11-4-1. As for Ridgeview, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-4.

Coming up, East Bakersfield will head out to challenge Tehachapi at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Ridgeview, they will take on Orosi in a tournament on Saturday.
