Volleyball Recap: Gilbert Falls to Westwood in First Game of Season

Gilbert unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Westwood Warriors on Monday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-16, 25-15.

Gilbert has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against South Mountain on the 6th. Westwood will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Cesar Chavez at 5:30 p.m. on March 18th.
