Soccer Game Preview: Bellevue vs. Sammamish

The Bellevue Wolverines will challenge the Sammamish RedHawks at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bellevue will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more goals each match than the last.

Bellevue's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Foster with a sharp 7-0 win. That seven goal margin sets a new team best for Bellevue this season.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Thursday Sammamish sidestepped Foster for a 3-2 victory. That's two games straight that Sammamish have won by just one goal.

Sammamish has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. As for Bellevue, their win bumped their record up to 3-1-1.

Bellevue might still be hurting after the 4-1 defeat they got from Sammamish in their previous meeting back in June of 2021. Can Bellevue avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
