The Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences Patriots will challenge the East Hamilton Hurricanes at 11:15 a.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences couldn't beat Lookout Valley on Thursday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fourth inning. The Patriots fell just short of the Yellowjackets by a score of 8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Patriots have suffered since May 10, 2024.

Meanwhile, East Hamilton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 12-2 to Ooltewah, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

East Hamilton saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Peyton Harris, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

East Hamilton's defeat dropped their record down to 13-15. As for Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.
