Football Recap: Edison Find Success

It's playoff time, and Edison had no trouble coming through when it counted. They secured a 24-18 W over Sports Leadership & Management on Thursday. The Red Raiders haven't had any issues with Sports Leadership & Management recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Rakyia Louis produced another solid performance throwing for 323 yards and four TDs. She is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as she's now passed for four or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Edison's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Briana Bogan, Jennifer Burton, and Armardi Danquah, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Edison's victory bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Sports Leadership & Management, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-3.

Edison wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 33-0 win against Keys Gate on the 23rd. As for Sports Leadership & Management, they have also already played their next contest, a 28-0 victory against Palm Glades Prep Academy on the 23rd.
