Basketball Recap: Lakeside Takes a Loss

Lakeside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Geneva Eagles and fell 55-17. The Dragons lost against the Eagles in their previous head to head back in February, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 43-29 score last time.

Lakeside's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Geneva, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lakeside will challenge rival Edgewood at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Geneva is set to face off against their familiar foe Madison at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
