Basketball Recap: Atlas HomeSchool Rattlers vs. Johnson County Sports Association Lions
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cistercian, Atlas HomeSchool was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They breezed by the Johnson County Sports Association Lions to the tune of 75-46. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 94-46 back in December of 2024.
Despite the defeat, Johnson County Sports Association saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Gage Bradley dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. Bradley is crushing it when it comes to boards: he's pulled down at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Liyone Johnson was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds.
The victory got Atlas HomeSchool back to even at 2-2. As for Johnson County Sports Association, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-9.
Atlas HomeSchool does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Johnson County Sports Association, they will head out to square off against Non Varsity Opponent at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
