Basketball Game Preview: Chief Leschi Warriors vs. Toledo Indians

The Chief Leschi Warriors just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Toledo Indians at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Chief Leschi has struggled recently with 12 losses in a row, while Toledo will arrive with five straight victories.

Chief Leschi is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 58 points on Saturday, they were much more limited against Muckleshoot Tribal on Sunday. They were beaten by the Kings 70-21. Meanwhile, Toledo got the win against Warden on Saturday by a conclusive 58-36. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 20 points or more this season.

Toledo's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.3 points per game. As for Chief Leschi, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.

Chief Leschi didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Toledo in their previous matchup back in February, but they still walked away with a 58-53 victory. Will Chief Leschi repeat their success, or does Toledo have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
