Softball Recap: Sneads Pirates vs. Franklin County Seahawks
Sneads lost against Franklin County back in March of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Sneads Pirates took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Franklin County Seahawks. It was the first time this season that Sneads let down their fans at home.
Addisyn Duboise and Carrington Scott stepped up to the plate in a big way. Duboise scored a run while going 2-for-4, while Scott got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases and a double. Another player making a difference was MacKenzie Walker, who went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and two RBI.
Even though they lost, Sneads was hitting in the alleys and finished the game with three doubles. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Franklin County only hit no.

Sneads' loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-4. As for Franklin County, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-4.
Sneads will take on Blountstown at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Franklin County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wewahitchka at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
