Sneads and Port St. Joe are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2016, but likely not for long. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Sneads' pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Friday. They blew past Graceville 16-0. The Pirates haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Naryah Dudley made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Dudley was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-2.

In other batting news, Sneads got a massive performance out of Isabella Williams, who scored three runs and stole six bases while going 2-for-2. Those six stolen bases gave Williams a new career-high. Another player making a difference was JaVayah Johnson, who scored three runs and stole eight bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Sneads always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .724. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Port St. Joe). They were the clear victors by a 17-0 margin over Marianna last Thursday. Like Sneads, Port St. Joe also got a great game from a two-way player: Brooklyn Bishop. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Bishop was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Addy Silcox, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Trinity Farmer also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for Port St. Joe and bumps their season record up to 7-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for Sneads, their record is now 2-5.
