Soccer Recap: Powell Comes Up Short

Powell managed to keep up with Cody until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Panthers came up short against the Broncs, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Cody this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in April.

This is the second loss in a row for Powell and nudges their season record down to 7-6. As for Cody, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-1.

Powell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cody, they will be taking part in a tournament against Rawlins at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rawlins will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Cody surely won't give up without a fight.
