Softball Recap: Edison Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Edison can now relate to. They came up short against the South County Stallions on Monday, falling 10-1. The match marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Maya Sable made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two doubles and one RBI.

Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 13-9. As for South County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-8.

Edison does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South County, they will face off against West Springfield at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Spartans will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Stallions surely won't give up without a fight.
