Softball Recap: Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua Falls Short Against Ranked Havre

Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua faced Havre in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Scotties fell 4-1 to the Blue Ponies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Ponies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-4 back in April.

Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Berkley Hillman, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Riley Clampitt also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-6. As for Havre, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2.

Looking ahead, Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua will challenge Custer County at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Havre, they have already played their next matchup, a 14-2 win against Sidney on the 2nd.
