Volleyball Recap: North Cobb Falls Short Against Ranked Allatoona

North Cobb faced Allatoona in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Warriors fell just short of the Buccaneers by a score of 2-1. The Warriors have struggled against the Buccaneers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

North Cobb started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-19, 25-20.

North Cobb's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Allatoona, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-4.

Allatoona will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Wheeler at 5:30 p.m. on the 15th. North Cobb will be paying especially close attention to the Buccaneers' contest: after the Buccaneers faces off against the Wildcats, they'll take on North Cobb again at 6:30 p.m. on the 15th.
