Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Powers Catholic). They came out on top against Dow by a score of 78-68 on Wednesday. The win was nothing new for Powers Catholic as they're now sitting on five straight.

Powers Catholic's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.5 points. As for Grand Blanc, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-8.

Grand Blanc won a match that couldn't have been any closer in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, slipping by Powers Catholic 47-46. Does Grand Blanc have another victory up their sleeve, or will Powers Catholic turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
