Volleyball Recap: Leominster Comes Up Short

Leominster extended their losing streak to five on Thursday, dropping them down to 4-10. They lost 3-0 to the Groton-Dunstable Crusaders. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since October 16, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Ella Barske had a dynamite game, getting seven digs and two aces. She has been hot for a while, having also posted 13 or more assists the last 13 times she's played. Bianca Greenan also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Leominster will venture away from home to square off against Hudson at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Groton-Dunstable, they will face off against Blackstone-Millville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
