Softball Recap: Saucon Valley Panthers vs. Salisbury Township Falcons

Monday just wasn't the day for Saucon Valley's offense. They fell just short of the Salisbury Township Falcons by a score of 1-0 on Monday. Saucon Valley was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Salisbury Township apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April.

Matty Seyfried spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered one run (which was unearned) on five hits and racked up 14 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in nine consecutive pitching appearances.
