Soccer Recap: Perry Comes Up Short

After flying high against Browne last Friday, Perry came back down to earth. The Perry Pumas took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hamilton Huskies on Thursday. The Pumas were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Huskies apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Perry's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 8-8-1. As for Hamilton, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-5.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Chandler the next time they take the pitch. Hamilton will head out to face Chandler at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while Perry will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on February 7th.
