Basketball Recap: Hilo Comes Up Short

Hilo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Kealakehe Waveriders, falling 52-32. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Vikings have suffered against the Waveriders since November 25, 2017.

Hilo's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Kealakehe, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hilo has already played their next game (against Pahoa), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Kealakehe has also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against Hawaii Prep.
