Baseball Recap: Timothy Christian Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Timothy Christian's offense. They fell 5-0 to the Chicago Christian Knights on Wednesday. The Trojans' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Johnny Tragos was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed six innings while giving up five earned runs off eight hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-low in walks (zero).

On the hitting side, Timothy Christian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eli Colegrove, who went 2-for-3 with one double. That double was Colegrove's first of the season.

Timothy Christian's record now sits at 6-6. As for Chicago Christian, their record is now 8-5.
