Indiana School for the Deaf beats Waldron for their tenth straight win

Recap: Indiana School for the Deaf Deaf Hoosiers vs. Waldron Mohawks

The Indiana School for the Deaf Deaf Hoosiers put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their undefeated season alive. They breezed by Waldron on the road to the tune of 38-8. Fans of Indiana School for the Deaf have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.

Jayden DeFalco continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 144 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries, while also throwing for 221 yards and four touchdowns on only 19 passes. DeFalco was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 69 yards. Indiana School for the Deaf also got help from Jamiroquai Pickney who showed off his sure hands for 94 receiving yards.

Indiana School for the Deaf's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB eight times. The heavy lifting was done by Calvin Cuppy and Leon LeFors who racked up seven sacks between them.

Indiana School for the Deaf's victory was their sixth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 10-0. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-5 Purdue Broad Ripple and 1-5 Faith Christian (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 41% over those games). As for Waldron, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-3.

Indiana School for the Deaf does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Waldron is also done with their season.
