Basketball Recap: KIPP NYC College Prep Takes a Loss

After flying high against Tuitt last Thursday, KIPP NYC College Prep came back down to earth. The game between the KIPP NYC College Prep Bulldogs and the South Bronx Prep Cougars didn't end well, with the KIPP NYC College Prep Bulldogs falling 56-42. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 269th, while the Cougars are ranked 49th).

KIPP NYC College Prep's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for South Bronx Prep, they pushed their record up to 18-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.

KIPP NYC College Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 85-12 win against Gompers on the 4th. South Bronx Prep has also already played their next match, a 70-56 victory against Longwood Prep Academy on the 4th.
