Sundown had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Haskell Indians on Thursday as they made off with a 13-3 win. The Roughnecks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 24 matches by seven runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Brynly Gregory, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and two doubles.

Gregory wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Sundown lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in March.

Sundown has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 20 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Haskell, they moved to 20-7 with that loss, which also ended their ten-game winning streak.

Sundown will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Indians: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
