Basketball Game Preview: Braxton County Eagles vs. Ravenswood Red Devils

Having just played yesterday, the Braxton County Eagles will get right back to it and host the Ravenswood Red Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Braxton County has given up an average of 51.6 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Braxton County came up short against Buffalo on Thursday, falling 56-30.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ravenswood). They skirted past Buffalo 57-54. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Red Devils have posted since December 14, 2024.

Braxton County dropped their record down to 6-9 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Ravenswood, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.

Things could have been worse for Braxton County, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 40-23 loss to Ravenswood in their previous meeting back in December of 2025.
