East won the last time they faced Central and things went their way on Friday too. The Thunderbirds walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Indians.

Hannah Janes paced East's offense, picking up 16 kills. Janes got some help from Charli Cameron and her 27 assists. Marlee Monjaras and Madi Jackson kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Despite the loss, Central still got an impressive performance from Breck Custis, who had 11 assists and ten digs. Ellese Klaassen also deserves some recognition as she had her first kills of the season.

East's record is now 17-15. As for Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-17 record this season.

East has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Laramie on the 31st. As for Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Sheridan on the 1st.
