Softball Game Preview: University School Buccaneers vs. Cherokee Chiefs

The University School Buccaneers will head out on the road to challenge the Cherokee Chiefs at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

University School is headed into Monday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of South Greene.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Cherokee's offense. They fell just short of Jefferson County by a score of 2-0 on Friday. The Chiefs have struggled against the Patriots recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meetings.

Cherokee's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for University School, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
